L&T shares fall by 1% even as CCS clears 100 K-9 Vajra howitzers for Indian Army

India boosted its defense capabilities. The government cleared a deal for 100 K-9 Vajra howitzers. These will be made by Larsen & Toubro. Another deal was signed with Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd for 12 Su-30MKI fighter jets. These projects will also benefit smaller businesses. The deals are worth thousands of crores of rupees.
