Preview: Livingston (A)

The Hibees make the short trip through to West Lothian on Sunday (19 May) to face Livingston in the final cinch Premiership match of the 2023/24 campaign - read the full match preview below!

THE LOWDOWN

The match kicks off at 3pm on Sunday (19 May) at the Tony Macaroni stadium.

Hibs come into this one after a comfortable 3-0 victory over Motherwell on Wednesday at Easter Road.

Goals from Myziane Maolida and a double from Martin Boyle ensured the Hibees convincingly picked up three points in what was a fitting send-off for club legends Paul Hanlon and Lewis Stevenson.

The Club paid an emotional tribute to the pair after the game as both Paul and Lewy took to the Easter Road pitch for one last time for an emotional lap of honour with their families.

Ahead of this encounter we currently sit in eighth place, two points behind Aberdeen who are one place above us.

TEAM NEWS

Will Fish, Elie Youan, Lewis Miller and David Marshall all missed Wednesday’s game and will be closely monitored ahead of Sunday.

Interim Head Coach David Gray will provide a full update when he speaks to the media on Friday afternoon.

THE HOSTS

Already-relegated Livingston come into this one having suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat away to Aberdeen on Wednesday. David Martindale’s side have only picked up five wins in the cinch Premiership this season.

The Hibees have taken six points out of a possible nine over Livingston this season.

The last time these two sides met at the Tony Macaroni arena was back in November when Hibs earned a narrow 1-0 victory courtesy of a first-half strike from Martin Boyle.
