HVCC offering free summer classes for HS students

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) is offering over 75 college-level courses for rising high school juniors and seniors this summer at no cost, funded through a college scholarship. The scholarship offers up to eight credits.

According to a release from HVCC, the summer offerings include courses in art, business, biology, chemistry, computer science, criminal justice, civil engineering, economics, education, English, history, math, physical education, political science, and psychology. Most summer courses will be offered in an online or remote learning format. HVCC offered the same incentive in 2021, 2022, and 2023 with over 2,100 students taking advantage.
