After the French Assembly's dissolution, both the left and the right struggle to find unity

After the surprise dissolution of the National Assembly last week by President Emmanuel Macron following the far-right's victory in the European elections, the parties are trying to unite, in a more or less chaotic way. On the left, the new Popular Front managed to display a united front for a few days, but the political factions are struggling to work out who will head the government if they win a majority. On the right, there have been so many defections this week that it is sometimes difficult to keep track, but Jordan Bardella from the National Rally seems very confident.
