Hot, humid weekend, scattered storms later Sunday

Another ripple aloft will interact with heat and humidity Sunday, forming a cluster of storms over the Upper Midwest and western Great Lakes that will dive southeast across Ohio later in the day. A few storms could contain strong or damaging winds and heavy rain, before moving east in the evening.
A few more storms are possible late Sunday night across northern Ohio primarily with a separate disturbance riding the northern edge of a heat dome.
Temperatures will reach the mid-90s Sunday through Tuesday. The heat will break when a cold front arrives Tuesday night and early Wednesday, bringing rain and a few storms.
Cooler and less humid conditions are expected the second half of the week, with highs in the low 80s.
