BBF, the Official Sponsor Partner of the Limassol Nautical Club (LNC) for the year 2023-24, proudly attended a Press Conference held at the LNC premises on Friday, 12 July 2024, for the official announcement of the 5 Cypriot athletes – and members of the Limassol Nautical Club – who will be representing Cyprus at the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in swimming, sailing and windsurfing.
The event, which was attended by city state officials and other esteemed guests, opened with a welcome speech addressed by Mr. Andreas Papadopoulos, President of the Limassol Nautical Club, followed by short speeches by a lineup of honorary guests.
Mr. Papadopoulos highlighted the importance of the LNC’s athletes’ participation in the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. He also emphasized the significance of BBF’s sponsorship for 2023-2024, which facilitated the purchase of essential equipment needed by the LNC to support athletic operations related to sailing, rowing, canoe-kayak, water polo, and swimming.
