SP: Dutchess County woman attacked nursing home resident

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Dutchess County woman was arrested and is accused of attacking a nursing home resident. Jossette Thompson, 51, Dover, is charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person.

According to New York State Police, an investigation found Thompson physically attacked a disabled resident of the Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation while she was employed there. She was arraigned at the town of Somers Court and was released on her own recognizance. She's set to reappear in court on July 22.
