Man ‘stabbed’ in violent attack at London underground station

Two women have been arrested after a man was apparently stabbed inside a London Underground station.

Emergency services were called to Seven Sisters underground station this morning after a man was seriously injured.

He remains in a life threatening condition.

Two women have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

One has also been arrested on suspicion of common assault.

Seven sisters station remains closed while officers continue their investigation.

British Transport Police said: ‘Two females have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. One has also been further arrested on suspicion of common assault.

‘They remain in police custody and enquiries are ongoing.

‘The underground station remains closed while officers investigate, and passengers will see an increased policing presence in the area.’
