Teen biker hit and killed by truck in Brooklyn: NYPD
CONEY ISLAND, Brooklyn (PIX11) --- A teenager riding a bike was hit and killed by a truck in Brooklyn Monday afternoon, police said.
A 16-year-old and a 15-year-old were both struck while on a bike near Coney Island and Ditmas avenues in Coney Island at around 1:55 p.m., according to the NYPD.
The 16-year-old was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead, police said. The 15-year-old was also hospitalized.
The driver remained at the scene and hasn't been charged.
