Finland has too many well-being services counties, says Purra

MINISTER of Finance Riikka Purra (PS) said on YLE A-studio on Monday that the social and health care reform that transferred the responsibility for organising social and health care services from municipalities to well-being services counties was unsuccessful.

She was particularly critical of the structural costs incurred by the 21 counties, hinting that in future consolidations may be necessary.
