Rush hour delays hit London Underground

The hump day commute has kicked off with delays and works on the London Underground network.

While most of the TfL network has been spared any major disruption this morning, there are a few bumps on the way for some on the Tube.

If you’re travelling on the Northern line, it had severe delays due to a signal failure at Finchley Central which has since eased to minor delays, the latest TfL status update shows.

Elsewhere on the Tube, the Circle line has minor delays. The DLR has reduced service until Sunday while part of the Piccadilly line is closed for planned works.
