Emergency crews respond to two accidents on I-44

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Emergency crews responded to two crashes on I-44 Thursday morning.

Officials say there is a multi-vehicle accident in the northbound lanes of I-44 near the I-40 Junction that is backing up traffic. Drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route.

There is another wreck in the southbound lanes of I-44 near NW 10th St. that is beginning to slow down traffic.

There are currently no reports of any injuries.
