FURIOUS Ruth Langsford has said ‘you won’t shame me’ as she hit back at trolls who bashed her for advertising pricey food and clothes, following her split from Eamonn.

It looked incredible – but one troll had something to say[/caption]

TV star Ruth, 64, shared a video of herself tucking into a platter board brimming with meats, cheese, fruit and bread.

A glam looking Ruth sat at the table in front of the feast, and said: “Who else is OBSESSED with platter boards?! I’ve tried making them for the first time and, if I say so myself, I’m pretty pleased with the results! I used lots of lovely bits and pieces from the Tesco Finest Deli range.”

The shot then changed to Ruth in her kitchen, as the culinary goddess showed off her platter making skills, with packets of cheeses and jars of chutneys in front of her.

Ruth, who told fans it was an ‘ad,’ continued: “The best part? It’s all easy to find in store at the Tesco Deli, and there’s a 3 for 2 offer with your Clubcard!

“So, whether you’re having a cosy night in or a get-together with friends, these delicious Tesco Finest finds make it easy to create a showstopping platter.”

But Ruth was met with backlash after sharing her food post, as one person wrote: “Do you ever think of the homeless while advertising expensive food and clothes.”

It led Ruth to hit back, writing: “You have no idea what I do for, or contribute to, charities so if you’re trying to shame me it won’t work!”

It’s not the first time Ruth has had to respond to trolls in her comments.

Last month, the star clapped back at a troll who branded her social media content “sad”.

The Loose Women anchor had taken to Instagram to share a clip preparing a Mediterranean-inspired dish at home and revealed it was an ad for Tesco.

But some were less impressed, with one writing: “Ruth is better than this ridiculous advertising. Sad to watch.”

Presenter Ruth hit back: “Feel free to unfollow if this is making you sad.”

Ruth also shows off her beautiful wardrobe on social media too, modelling pieces for QVC.

The former This Morning TV star Ruth and ex-husband and fellow co-presenter Eamonn Holmes shocked the nation when they revealed their split in May.
