5 soldiers killed in Colombia guerrilla attack

BOGOTA, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- At least five soldiers were killed and several others injured in an attack by the National Liberation Army (ELN) guerrilla group in Anori, a city in northwestern Colombia, authority said Thursday.

Defense Minister Ivan Velasquez extended condolences to the victims' families and members of Colombia's Armed Forces while ordering a "forceful" offensive against members of the armed group.
