Trump picks Key Square Group CEO Scott Bessent as Treasury Secretary, Chavez-DeRemer as Labor Secretary

Days after claiming a resounding victory in US elections 2024, Donald Trump has announced he will nominate investor Scott Bessent for Treasury Secretary. Bessent is an American investor, philanthropist, and educator. He is the Founder and CEO of Key Square Group. Trump has also picked Congresswoman Lori Chavez-DeRemer for Labor Secretary, and Dr Janette Nesheiwat as the next Surgeon General of the US.
