College football fans were so annoyed by Fox's frequent commercial breaks during Ohio State-Indiana

It’s no secret that there’s a ton of money floating around college football, and broadcasters rely on advertisers, like any other sport.

But sometimes, it seems like the commercial breaks are way too frequent, like Saturday during Fox’s broadcast of the Ohio State-Indiana game. That’s understandably very frustrating when you feel like you’re being inundated with more ads than football.

Of course, there are always a lot of commercial breaks in college football, but — whether or not it’s accurate or just a perception — it certainly felt like there were more than usual in the first half of this game in Columbus. And college football fans were getting annoyed with very little patience for all the breaks.

Among the many complaints from fans seemed to be the sequence of a commercial break, kickoff, commercial break, and it seems like it’s worse if it’s toward the end of a quarter or half. That’s not a new sequence from broadcasters, but it’s still annoying.

College football fans vented their frustrations on Twitter, and it became clear that a lot of them felt like there were more commercial breaks than usual Saturday.
