ET Graphics: Mega IPL auction starts on a high note; Rishabh Pant becomes top buy with Rs 27 crore

A total of 67 players, including 24 overseas, were sold on the first day of the IPL mega auction, with Rs 464 crore spent. Rishabh Pant became the most expensive player, bought by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 27 crore, while Arshdeep Singh was retained by Punjab Kings for Rs 18 crore using the Right-to-Match (RTM) card.
