Adam will soon be back on screen with new show, Adam Richman Eats Football

Despite only leaving the van for a few minutes, when they returned they were horrified to discover they had been robbed, with all their filming equipment stolen.

In a tweet on X at the time, Adam added: “Both of my suitcases with all of my possessions are gone. Backpack with my laptop and all of my medications are gone.”

The police investigation into the crime is still ongoing, but speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, Adam said he and the crew hadn’t let the ordeal tarnish the joy of filming the new show.

He said: “You form this unit and tragedy, you know, struck us all on this on show.

“But we and we bonded over it. It didn’t knock us back.

“And it could have scuttled a lesser show with a lesser crew, but we all believed in what we were doing.

“And I think that’s what I really want viewers to understand, that we loved doing this because we love the subject matter.

“We love the approach to the subject matter. And again, if you’re not like a super foodie, the show is still for you.”

The new show, which will air on the Food Network, sees the former Man V Food star combining his two great passions; food and football.

Adam, who is part owner of Grimsby Town Football Club, is eating his way around the homes of world famous British football teams.

He’ll discover the very best eats close to some of the Premier League’s 20 clubs, including West Ham and Chelsea, along with a few non-Premier League clubs.

From Stratford to Newcastle and Stanford Bridge to Everton, Adam’s seeking out the best butty’s to pre match ritual meals and other bits of footie’s finest food in and near the grounds.

A Met Police spokesperson previously said: “Police were called at 14:49hrs on Wednesday, 23 October following reports of a theft from a van at London Gateway Services on the M1.

“Items including cameras and laptops were stolen. Officers are continuing enquiries. No arrests have been made at this stage.

“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD4451/23OCT.”

Adam Richman Eats Football begins at 10pm on Monday, December 2 on the Food Network.
