Aster DM, Blackstone merger shortly today, to become among top 3 hospital chains in India

Aster DM Healthcare is set to merge with Blackstone-owned Quality Care India Ltd, creating Aster DM Quality Care. Blackstone will hold a 30% stake, while Aster DM promoters will have 24%. The merged entity will have over 10,150 beds and revenue of Rs 7,314 crore. Varun Khanna will be the MD and Group CEO, Azad Moopen the executive chairman.
