Capital Region restaurant inspections: November 25-29

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- At the end of each week, the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) releases its list of food service establishment inspections for that week. The establishments include restaurants, school cafeteria kitchens, park concessions and other places that have a commercial kitchen and serve food.

These are the inspections from November 25 to November 28 reported by the NYSDOH divided up by critical violations, non-critical violations and no violations. You can find a list of all restaurant inspections for the last several years on the NYSDOH website.

The following violations from the NYSDOH cite the full code violation and note what the specific problem was within the restaurant. To get those details, a Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) request needs to be submitted to the appropriate local health department, said NYSDOH.

According to the NYSDOH, critical violations must be corrected at the time of inspection. The inspector may also order a food establishment to close if there is an “imminent hazard to public health,” but could reopen after that hazard is corrected.
