One dead, two injured in Monday morning house fire in Ossun
OSSUN, La. (KLFY) -- A house fire in Ossun this morning left one person dead and two others injured, authorities said.
A resident of the home was detained at the scene. 23-year-old Kalayshia Lagrange was booked in the Lafayette Parish Jail on two bench warrants and a probation and parole warrant.
Investigators said the fire happened around 8 a.m. Monday morning on Latin Drive. The names of the victims have yet to be released.
The Lafayette Fire Department is still investigating the cause of the fire, and the State Fire Marshall is assisting the investigation.
