Govt allocates 3.8 mn houses under new PMAY-G norms this fiscal, no poor person to be left out: Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced the allocation of 3.8 million houses under PMAY-G across 18 states, with an initial release of Rs 10,668 crore. The ministry has spent Rs 1.03 lakh crore this fiscal year on various schemes. A new survey will identify more beneficiaries under relaxed eligibility criteria. The Lakhpati Didi scheme now boasts 11.5 million members.
