St. John's Jesuit gave defending Michigan Division 1 champion Orchard Lake St. Mary's everything it could handle Friday, losing 54-53 on a shot by Sharod Barnes with 2.7 seconds remaining in a Catholic High School League Central Division boys basketball contest.
