WATCH: ‘He did it…’, Travis Head’s wife jumps out of happiness with her child on lap over star batter’s century at his home
New Delhi: Travis Head scored a century in the Pink Ball Test being played against India in Adelaide. During Australia’s first innings, Head completed his century in 111 balls with the help of 10 fours and 3 sixes. Head dedicated his century to his son. After completing the century, the Australian batsman did a special celebration for his son. During this, his wife Jessica Davis was seen holding her son in her lap.
The video of Head’s century celebration is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In the video, it can be seen that after completing the century, Head waves the bat in the air in such a way as if a child is fed by holding him in the lap. After this, he takes off his helmet and celebrates.
Meanwhile, the camera focuses on Head’s wife Jessica who is standing in the stands and she is seen holding the newborn baby in her lap. Head’s wife looked very happy. Let us tell you that Head had shared the news of him becoming a father again on social media about a month ago, i.e. on November 8. Head became the father of a baby boy this time, whom he named ‘Harrison George Head’.
“It was amazing. It can’t get any better than getting a hundred at Adelaide, this is our home ground, for both Travis and I. This is a really special place for Travis. It is one of his favourite places to play and do it in front of his family and his friends. Pretty much everyone is here. His brother, his sister, his parents, his uncles, and my whole family is here and that is why it is so special,” Jessica said.
“He loves his family and friends and doing it here is just that much more special, we have just got a newborn, it was his first game and doing it in front of all of us was just amazing, I think he got a hundred on Milla’s first game at the stadium as well, and now he has done the same at Harrison’s first game, so it is very special,” Jessica reminisced.
