Free KSRTC bus travel for women on Mangaluru-Karkala route with shakti scheme

The Karnataka government is launching the Shakti Scheme, providing free KSRTC bus travel for women on the Mangaluru-Moodbidri-Karkala route. Four buses will initially operate starting Friday, addressing previous unavailability and expanding the scheme's reach. MLC Manjunath Bhandary also raised concerns about the delayed Jal Jeevan Mission, despite pipeline connections, urging faster implementation.
