Man fatally shot in North Lawndale

A man was found fatally shot early Wednesday in North Lawndale on the West Side.

Around 12:45 a.m., the man, 23, was found on the street in the 1100 block of South Francisco Avenue with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, Chicago police said.

The unidentified man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Area 4 detectives are investigating and nobody has been arrested.
