Pittsfield Firefighters to deliver winter coats to kids
PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) -- Pittsfield Firefighters will use their firetruck to deliver 50 new winter coats to PIttsfield children at the Boys and Girls Club of the Berkshires. They will arrive at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The firefighters partnered with the Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts Foundation and the Boston Bruins Foundation to make this happen. ThreadTech, a woman-owned business in Charlestown, manufactured the coats.
There will also be deliveries in Taunton on Friday and Methuen on Tuesday.
