Billboard Music Awards 2025: Best prediction scores by our editors and users
Congratulations to Gold Derby user Kai for an almost perfect score of 94.12% when predicting the 2025 Billboard Music Awards winners on Thursday night. The top scorer is just ahead of three people who tied at 88.24% and has a great point score of 66,925 by using the two Super Bets (500 points each) wisely.
Over 450 fans worldwide predicted these music champs with our top scorer getting 16 out of 17 categories correct. On a night dominated by Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen, our top scorer’s only miss was for Top Soundtrack (choosing “Twisters” over winner “Trolls Band Together”).
You can see how your score compares to all others in our leaderboard rankings of all contestants, which also includes links to see each participant’s predictions. To see your own scores, go to the User menu in the top right corner of every page of Gold Derby when you’re signed in to the site. Use the drop down menu to go to “View Profile,” then look for the links to your “Award Show Scores.”
For our nine Gold Derby editors predicting, six are tied for the lead at 76.47%: Charles Bright, Joyce Eng, Rob Licuria, Ray Richmond, Christopher Rosen, and myself. We then have Marcus James Dixon and Daniel Montgomery at 70.59%, followed by Denton Davidson at 64.71%. See editors’ scores.
