Ex-Brazil midfielder Dudu parts ways with Palmeiras

RIO DE JANEIRO, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- Former Brazil international midfielder Dudu has parted ways with Palmeiras by mutual consent, the Brazilian Serie A club said on Thursday.

The 32-year-old, whose contract had been due to expire in December 2025, had fallen out of favor under manager Abel Ferreira, starting only four times since returning from a serious knee injury in June.
