TIKTOK megastar Gordo Percui has been shot dead along with his wife in a horror gang attack.
The internet sensation and his partner were approached by a group of armed men who opened fire on the pair outside their home.
The online star, whose real name is Leovardo Asipuro Soto, was struck multiple times and tragically died on the spot.
His wife Brenda Félix was taken to hospital in a critical condition before later succumbing to her injuries.
The shooting took place outside their home in Culiacán, north-western Mexico, at around 10pm on 9 December.
The authorities have opened an investigation into the horror killings, but no arrests have been reported yet.
The internet sensation was best known for creating comedy content for his adoring fans, with one million followers on TikTok and 470,000 on Instagram.
Leovardo also had a hugely popular YouTube channel with 172,000 subscribers where he performed sketches and told humorous stories.
He gained fame for his collaborations with Marco Eduardo Castro Cárdenas, better known as Markitos Toys.
Marco, who has 4.8m Instagram fans, has just announced that he has left his home city of Culiacán to hideout in Cuba after his businesses were allegedly attacked by a criminal gang, as reported by NeedToKnow.
Leovardo tragically leaves behind four children.
The tragic news comes a mere few days after another TikTok star and model was shot dead outside a gym reportedly in a targeted attack.
Fedra Oded Gaxiola Orozco, 24, was gunned down in broad daylight while sitting in her black Mercedes Benz last week.
Orozco was outside the Hardcore Fitness Gym in the López Lucio neighbourhood of Tijuana, Mexico, when she tragically lost her life.
The killer approached the car at about 8.35am and shot several times through the window and the car door before fleeing.
An ambulance took Orozco to a hospital, but she sadly could not be saved.
Witnesses at the scene said the shooters fled aboard a grey Chevrolet HHR vehicle with cops now launching a manhunt for the killers.
