Karnataka govt announces annual Rs 250 crore funding for new Coastal Development Board(CDB)

Karnataka's coast is getting a major boost. The government is setting up a new Coastal Development Board. It will receive Rs 250 crore every year. This funding starts in April 2025. The money will improve beaches and tourism. MLAs will be board members. The government is also considering a High Court bench in Mangaluru.
