Woman's body found floating in water at Queens Park: Police
QUEENS (PIX11) – A woman's body was found floating in the water at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens on Saturday, police said.
Police responded to a 911 call at 7:20 a.m. The New York City Police Department's scuba team was dispatched and pulled a 46-year-old woman from the waters.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
The Office of Chief Medical Examiner of the City of New York will determine the cause of death.
The victim's identity is being withheld pending family notification, authorities said.
