A strong earthquake struck Myanmar on Wednesday night (April 13, 2016) and was felt in parts of eastern India and Bangladesh, causing residents to rush out of their homes in panic. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

Strong tremors felt in eastern India - witness

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Strong tremors were felt in India's eastern city of Guwahati on Wednesday, a witness told Reuters. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said an earthquake measuring 7.0 had struck Myanmar, a country to the east of India.
