BIR officer goes to ‘freezer’ for gifts to chief
A revenue district officer (RDO) is the first casualty in the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s (BIR) fight against graft and corruption and was transferred to a “freezer” post for sending a basket of imported fruits and wine to new BIR Commissioner Cesar R. Dulay.
