Gianno Caldwell: The ‘America Last’ Agenda Will Be On Full Display At The DNC

Fox News Political Analyst Gianno Caldwell joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to discuss Vice President Kamala Harris’ recent surge in the polls, and whether he believes this momentum is going to last once voters start learning more about her policy positions.

“We’ve not heard much from her directly, and I I’ll tell you, I think she just yesterday spoke to some reporters very briefly. But there’s a lot of tough questions that need to be asked, and I know what they’ve been looking to do. It is totally the basement strategy. Although she’s being seen, certainly. But they’re trying to, allow for the momentum that she’s had coming out of this thing for, you know, the funeral they have for Joe Biden for weeks and weeks and weeks, knowing that they were going to lose and they were going to lose big. The Democrats are energized around her candidacy now, with that consideration in mind, she doesn’t want to mess it up. Because oftentimes when she opens her mouth and begins to speak, it’s a word salad. We don’t understand where she’s coming from. You didn’t answer the question, and it just leaves people scratching her head. And I suppose we’re going to see a whole lot more of that when she starts actually doing interviews. So they’re trying to run the poll numbers up as high as they possibly can so no matter what she does, it doesn’t come crashing down as it could if she began to speak now. It’s a terrible strategy for the American people because, yeah, we deserve it as voters to know what the person who is running for president of the United States, what they think on particular policy. We deserve to know how their policies are going to impact us and Donald Trump. I mean, give him a mic and he’s ready to go. Like, I mean, you don’t even have to give him a topic. Just give him a mic and he’ll start talking and he will answer questions. Unfortunately, that strategy does not work for Kamala Harris because ultimately, people perceive it negatively, just like the Democratic Party did in 2020 when she ran for president.”
