Sorry if I've missed something, where is Bruines in all this - is he injured? Seems strange that we are down two centres and the 21 year old centre we signed isn't even in the frame for a call up.

Serious hamstring injury in preseason, then on his return to training a couple of weeks ago injured the other in a ‘freak accident’. Think it was in the Guardian.

Can you honestly say that you'd have given all of those academy lads an opportunity if your signings this season hadn't been so garbage?
It's great that there getting games, but it's more out of necessity isn't it?

To be fair at the start of the season the club did say they where going to get a chance maybe not a many as we have, but if you look at the top sides in the league Saints, Wire and Wigan they all invest in the academy's and bring players... Читать дальше...

Apparently we do have dispensation for him under the current ruling which I thought would been a stretch as the ruling is you need 3 years in English RL as a junior, Isaiah would have been 1 year old when he got here and 8 when he left.

Under the rules they are trying to pass, anyone eligible for a British citizenship (here over 5 years or dual nationality) won't be non fed, could open up the likes of Walmsley etc, not sure what I think about it in the hrs... Читать дальше...

yup there was ... players and officials walked down to the pitch at the side of the stand. my memory as a kid was peering between the seats held by wooden beams and looking down under the stand at all the cig ends and garbage that was thrown from under the seats. fire hazzard? lol

I get that it was a fire hazard and I’m not suggesting that we rebuild the stand like it was. But a roof surely wouldn't cost a massive amount. I mean it’s not like we’re building a brand new stand? Читать дальше...

Rumours of Armstrong been a marquee player, only played about 7 NRL games. so maybe is annoyed with his salary compared to others, he should be in the top 3 salaries.

If he’s not currently on a marquee salary there’s one sure fire way to get one, get your representatives to fake an interest in coming to Hull. Hull telling the media he’s a target is the icing on the cake for his team. All we have to wait for now is Leigh deciding the right time and picking... Читать дальше...

I have to say that I'm not at the worrying stage yet. I'm also aware that we're in phase 2 of a transition period in our 5 year plan. Players will come and go, so I think we need to put our trust in our recruitment whoever comes in, and when it's announced at an appropriate time, we can then adjudicate whether we approve of those players.

Recruitment will become a lot easier when we don't have to sign players from other clubs on first team contracts, specifically to play for the reserves. Читать дальше...

I like Sailor, think he will go well in Superleague with the right mindset, are Saints signing Iro? I think he would smash it up in Superleague, looked like he was signing for Cas last season and it didn’t happen, was linked with Saints but then broke into the Sharks team.

Iro? No way hes going to anybody in SL now he's first choice. Sailor is awful under the high ball so hopefully Saints play him at 1
