J. Cole's Kendrick Lamar diss track response on 7 Minute Drill includes ripping the Simpsons too

Oh man.

J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar are in the middle of a back-and-forth battle through tracks dropping left and right. In Metro Boomin’s recent new track Like That, Lamar dropped some lyrics that took aim at J. Cole and Drake (whose track First Person Shooter was referenced).

But now J. Cole has dropped a surprise new album, Might Delete Later and it’s on the track 7 Minute Drill that he takes shots at Lamar … and The Simpsons?

Per Genius, some lyrics: “I came up in the ‘Ville, so I’m good when it’s tension / He still doin’ shows, but fell off like the Simpsons /
Your first [expletive] was classic, your last [expletive] was tragic /
Your second [expletive] put [expletive] to sleep, but they gassed it /
Your third [expletive] was massive and that was your prime.”

Whew. But did he really need to bring the Simpsons into this?
