Nationals activate RHP Jordan Weems, recall SS Jose Tena

The Washington Nationals activated right-hander Jordan Weems from the 15-day injured list Saturday and recalled shortstop Jose Tena from Triple-A Rochester.

In corresponding moves, third baseman Trey Lipscomb and right-hander Joan Adon were optioned to Rochester.

Weems, 31, has been out since July 26 because of shin splints. He is 1-1 with a 6.59 ERA in 40 relief appearances
