From the quest Death Plateau you are given Climbing Boots without any stats. The climbing boots which we used to have were upgraded to 75K price, and were renamed Rock Climbing Boots. These provide the same stats. Jagex upgraded this because they believed that RS gold Climbing Boots utilized to provide excessively good bonuses because of its 12 gp cost (very right but I don't believe they should've upgraded it).
