On Monday, a directive was issued to both private and government-aided schools that have remained open despite the scorching temperatures, mandating their immediate closure. The circular, issued by the Directorate of Education, stipulates that all schools are obligated to observe summer vacation from May 11 to June 30 for the current academic year.
