U.S. stocks are nudging toward more records in quiet trading ahead of what could be a quiet, holiday-shortened week. The S&P 500 was 0.2% higher Monday and on track to close above its all-time high set on Thursday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 12 points, and the Nasdaq composite was 0.1% higher. Broadcom added to its strong gains from last week and helped lift the market along with other big technology companies.
