Coal India exploring lithium assets in Argentina with U.S. company

Coal India Ltd, in collaboration with a U.S. firm, is exploring lithium blocks in Argentina to secure battery material supplies under the U.S.-led Minerals Security Partnership. This initiative aims to diversify critical minerals supply chains and reduce dependency on China, with preliminary studies currently underway.

Marathas cannot get OBC quota, says Bhujbal, demands caste census

Veteran OBC leader and Maharashtra Minister Chhagan Bhujbal has reiterated that the Marathas cannot be given reservation from the quota for the Other Backward Classes (OBC) community. Talking to reporters on Monday, the state's food and civil supplies minister also renewed his demand for a caste census in the state. Sauber’s Caution Advised: Audi F1 Ambitions Under Scrutiny

Jun.18 - Ralf Schumacher admits he has concerns about Audi's Formula 1 ambitions. The Volkswagen-owned carmaker has 100 percent acquired Swiss-based Sauber, and will relaunch as the fully works Audi team from 2026. Investment in renewables to go up in FY’25 and FY’26: CRISIL

In its annual Infrastructure Summit 2024, CRISIL Ratings said the surge will ride on India’s need for creation of sustainable infrastructure by adding more green power to the energy mix, improving physical connectivity through a denser road network, as well as rising demand for residential and commercial real estate, cautioning of some risks across three scetors.
