Men on a Mission to stop Capital Region violence

A local community-based group, Men on a Mission, held a round table discussion addressing violence in Albany with the chief of police and other community members as we head into the hot summer months. South Korean soldiers fire warning shots after North Korean troops cross border, apparently in error 

SEOUL, South Korea — South Korean troops fired warning shots to repel North Korean soldiers who briefly crossed the rivals' heavily fortified land border Tuesday for the second time this month, the South's military said. Both incursions were believed to be unintentional. Around 20 to 30 North Korean soldiers who were doing construction work crossed the military demarcation line that serves as the border between the two countries in the Demilitarized Zone, according to South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff. Peru miner Volcan eyes $200m in further asset sales

Volcan Cia Minera, the Peruvian zinc miner that was recently acquired by Argentine group Integra Capital, said it is pushing ahead with plans to sell non-core assets as it talks with creditors to refinance a pile of debt coming due in the coming years. Rains lash Chennai, flight services affected

Overnight rains in the city and nearby areas caused flight delays and uprooted trees, disrupting travel. International and domestic flights to and from Dubai, Delhi, and Pune were affected. Uprooted trees, particularly in Kodambakkam, were being cleared by civic personnel. The rains provided relief from the heat for residents.
