Akme Fintrade's Rs 132 crore IPO subscribed 3 times on Day 1 of offer

The initial share sale of non-banking finance company Akme Fintrade (India) Ltd received 3 times subscription on the first day of bidding on Wednesday. The Rs 132 crore initial public offer received bids for 2,36,47,500 shares against 78,65,000 shares on offer, according to NSE data. The quota for non-institutional investors fetched 5.15 times subscription while the Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) part got subscribed 4.16 times. Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, implicated in the Renukaswamy murder case, has reportedly admitted to giving Rs 30 lakh to co-accused Pradosh to dispose of the body and ensure his name remained undisclosed, according to police sources. The amount was recovered from Pradosh's residence. Renukaswamy, a fan who allegedly sent obscene messages to Darshan's friend, was found murdered near a storm-water drain in Sumanahalli on June 9.
