"They drink alcohol in their closet and ban it in the open just to show good face with a drunk heart" — Pablo Hxncho fires 'hypocrite' FDA

Afro-Dancehall musician Lawrence Nii Adjei Laryea, popularly known as Pablo Hxncho has expressed his disappointment in the FDA for their ban on Celebrities not to advertise Products from Breweries. In a post on his Facebook wall, he wrote ldquo;Alcohol is synonymous with celebrities therefore everywhere in the world these celebrities are used in advertising these products.

NGO urges Ada youth to value their life over unprotected sex

Ms. Esther Kakie Ayimavor, the Chief Executive Officer of the Naana Kakie Foundation, has appealed to the Ghanaian youth to prioritise a healthy life over having unprotected sex, which can cause a lifetime regret for them.

International Yoga Day: Let's make yoga mass movement for global health and wellbeing —Ghanaians told

The Indian High Commission in Ghana has marked International Day of Yoga, calling on everyone to make yoga a mass movement for good health and wellbeing across the globe. Mr Manish Gupta, High Commissioner of India, said people should incorporate yoga into their daily lives to keep themselves fit, remain healthy, feel happier, and make the world a better place.

Let’s lay down guns and embrace peace – Bawku West DCE to factions

Mr Daniel Anania Atampuba, the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the Bawku West District in the Upper East Region, has called on factions involved in various conflicts in the region to embrace peace. He said the conflicts in the region, particularly the protracted Bawku conflict, was spreading beyond Bawku to other parts of the region and the threat of violent activities of extremists was adversely affecting development.

Nigerian arrested for killing and burying Son

Nsawam Police Command is holding a 40-year-old Nigerian man identified as Justice, known locally as ldquo;Oga, rdquo; for allegedly killing his son, Wisdom and secretly burying him. The suspect, a hardware seller lives with his wife, also a Nigerian and three children including the deceased at Kyekyewere, a community near Asuboi along the Accra to Kumasi Highway in the Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region.
