Delhi-NCR gets much needed respite from heatwave with heavy rainfall

Delhi Rains: Delhi-NCR experienced significant relief from scorching heat with heavy rainfall drenching several parts on Thursday morning. Areas like Sarita Vihar, Munirka, and Noida were particularly affected, with the IMD issuing a yellow alert for heavy rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds up to 30 km/h. The forecast predicts increasing rain intensity through Friday and Saturday, with possible gusts by Sunday. Temperatures are expected to drop gradually, reaching 34 degrees Celsius on Sunday.

Jury begins deliberations in class-action lawsuit against NFL by 'Sunday Ticket' subscribers

The jury began deliberations Wednesday in a class-action lawsuit filed by “Sunday Ticket” subscribers claiming the NFL broke antitrust law. The lawsuit was filed in 2015 and has withstood numerous challenges, including a dismissal that was overturned. Electoral Commission to extend voter registration to prison inmates 

Electoral Commission (EC) says it is working with the Ghana Prisons Service to register eligible prison inmates ahead of the 2024 General Election. The Commission said eligible prison inmates would be registered during the mop-up registration exercise scheduled for August 1 to August 3, 2024, in all district offices of the Commission.
