US justice dept wants Boeing to plead guilty to fraud over fatal crashes

The US Justice Department plans to propose that Boeing plead guilty to fraud in connection with two deadly plane crashes involving its 737 Max jetliners, according to two people who heard prosecutors detail the offer Sunday. Boeing will have until the end of the coming week to accept or reject the offer, which includes the giant aerospace company agreeing to an independent monitor who would oversee its compliance with anti-fraud laws, they said. Posters put up at various police stations in Delhi to create awareness on new criminal laws

New criminal laws in India have taken effect, and posters have been put up in police stations to inform the public. The Indian Penal Code, CrPC, and Indian Evidence Act have been replaced with Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, respectively. These new codes introduce significant changes, including new crimes, increased penalties, and provisions for crimes against women and children.
