Hathras Stampede: FIR lodged under BNS against 'Mukhya Sewadar', other organisers of satsang

Following the disaster during a religious congregation (satsang) in Hathras which resulted in over 100 deaths, mostly women and children, and left more than 300 injured, an FIR was registered. The FIR, under sections 105, 110, 126(2), 223, and 238 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, targets Devprakash Madhukar, known as 'Mukhya Sewadar', and other organisers of the event where the tragic stampede occurred.
