Special bus ready for India's victory parade - see photos

Mumbai is gearing up for a grand victory parade to celebrate Team India's 2024 T20 World Cup win in Barbados. A specially designed bus will transport the champions through the city, culminating at Wankhede Stadium, where fans have free entry today. Extensive security measures are in place for the event, which runs from 5 to 7 pm, moving from Nariman Point to Wankhede Stadium. The team was welcomed with fanfare in New Delhi and celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony at ITC Maurya hotel.

Vale picks mining veteran to lead base metals turnaround

Vale has selected veteran mining executive Shaun Usmar to take the helm of its base metals division as the Brazilian metals producer seeks to boost copper and nickel production, according to people familiar with the matter. The board of the Rio de Janeiro-based company chose Usmar to head Vale Base Metals, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the information isn’t public. The appointment has yet to be confirmed and it’s possible things could change, one of the people said.
