Panel to recommend Odisha govt to reopen Puri Jagannath temple's 'Ratna Bhandar' on July 14

A high-level committee overseeing the inventory of valuable items in the 'Ratna Bhandar' of Puri Jagannath temple plans to recommend reopening the inner chamber on July 14, after deciding during a meeting in Puri. The committee, led by Justice Biswanath Rath, also discussed standard operating procedures for inventorying and repairing the treasury. The temple's treasures were last accessed in 1978, with plans to shift items during repairs.
